Episode 26: I'm back, and I have something important to announce.
Gemma AdevaHello!! It's been a while since I posted a new podcast episode 😅
I hope you haven't forgotten about this humble podcast, haha. Seriously though: everything's fine, I've just been busy with a thousand things, including Patreon (I'm so grateful to my patrons). But I'm back, and today I have something super important to announce that I've been keeping a secret... I know the news will surprise you, but I hope you'll join me in this new phase. I'm so nervous to announce this!
NOTES FOR THIS EPISODE
Sections: On my needles, Knitflix.
– I’ve knitted a ton of things these past few months! I finished the Cavalgante Sweater and the Burgos Vest (both from Retrosaria Rosa Pomar), as well as some socks for Mr. Yarnitas (which I can’t show yet…) and I’ve also knitted a Lakes Pullover from Ozetta which is definitely my favorite sweater so far. I know I’ve been meaning to show you all these projects, but it’s too hot out there to take pictures of myself in a wool sweater, so you’ll have to wait until fall.
– Right now I’m knitting the Year’s End by Veera Välimäki with a skein of Lang Yarns Twin SOXX (the skein is from the Style of Africa collection in the shade Sunset) that my friend Virginia gave me, and I’m also working on the project I’ve chosen for my knitting group’s summer KAL: the Ingrid Top by Gregoria Fibers. I’m knitting it with Drops Belle, which is a cotton, linen, and viscose blend, and so far I’m really happy with both the yarn and the project. Summer patterns are always a total success or a horrible mistake for me, there’s no in between, so until I finish it and try it on, I don’t want to jump to conclusions, hahaha.
– I just finished watching Love and Death on HBO and I highly recommend it. Also, From on the same platform! I'm completely hooked on the latter.
And finally, I hope you enjoyed the surprise news! As I explained, it's something I've been thinking about for a while... next week I'll publish a post telling you everything too, but for now, you can find all the skeins I have left with a 30% discount while supplies last, you don't need to apply any code 😃 I would really appreciate it if you could help me empty the store for this new phase, thanks for listening to the podcast!
