Zebra / Dyeing to Order
If you need a color that's not currently in stock , or more skeins than available for a large project, you can place a custom order and I'll dye the skeins for you at no additional cost. Read carefully how this service works before placing your order:
How does the on-demand dyeing system work?
- Choose your color from the drop-down menu below.
- Add a minimum of 4 skeins to your cart.
- Continue adding other products or complete the order.
- Once you've completed your order, I'll contact you via email to discuss all the details and provide an approximate shipping date.
The minimum number of skeins per color required for this type of order is 4 (you will not be able to complete the order if you do not add this quantity to your cart). The estimated preparation and shipping time for this type of order is 2 to 3 weeks. Exchanges and returns are not allowed on custom dyed orders.
A yarn with an unusual effect, as it draws stripes or forms a mottled effect when you knit it, without needing to use a different colored strand, with it you will add an interesting touch to all your projects.
Highland wool comes from the highlands of Peru (over 2,000 meters above sea level), and the sheep that produce it are a blend of Corrediale and Merino. It doesn't have the extreme softness of Merino, but it's much more durable and warm, with a touch of elasticity.
Perfect for all types of garments (the effect varies depending on the size and number of stitches in the project).
100% 4ply Highland Wool
400m / 100g
Recommended needles: 2.25mm - 3.75mm
Origin: Peru
Please note that as this is a handmade product, each skein is unique and may vary slightly from one another, even if they are from the same dye lot. We recommend purchasing enough to complete your project to avoid color differences between dye lots.
