The perfect socks for astronomy lovers! Practice your colorwork with these top-down socks, featuring a knitted heel with short rows.
SIZES AND MEASUREMENTS
Size 1 (56 points), size 2 (64 points), size 3 (72 points).
Size 1 - 16.5 cm circumference.
Size 2 - 19 cm circumference.
Size 3 - 21.3 cm circumference.
The measurements for each size correspond to the unstretched sock.
+ Pattern language: Spanish and English (you will receive both versions).
+ Techniques needed: knitting in the round, knitting with two colors, basic increases and decreases, reading simple charts, short rows (includes links to more complicated techniques).
+ Yarn: 1 Sparkly Deluxe Sock Yarn Kit (200m / 50g 70% SW Merino 20% Nylon 10% Silver Stellina x2, 400m total), or the equivalent of any other sock yarn. Color “Galaxy”. You will need two different colors to knit the socks.
+ Needles: 2.5mm circular sock needles or double-pointed needles. You can also use a circular needle with a cable long enough to make a magic loop .
+ Tension: 10 stitches and 11 rows per inch (2.5cm) in stockinette stitch using 2.5mm needles.
