Maya's Socks are my little tribute to one of our dogs. These socks are knitted from the toe to the elastic and have small lace panels that form tiny flowers. The stitches are cast on using the Turkish Cast On technique, and the heel will also teach you how to knit a Fleegle's Heel.
SIZES AND MEASUREMENTS
Size 1 (56 points), size 2 (64 points), size 3 (72 points).
Size 1 - 16 cm circumference.
Size 2 - 18 cm circumference.
Size 3 - 20 cm circumference
The measurements for each size correspond to the unstretched sock.
+ Pattern language: Spanish and English (you will receive both versions).
+ Techniques needed: circular knitting, Turkish Cast On , Fleegle's Heel, basic increases and decreases, reading simple charts, short rows (includes links to more complicated techniques).
+ Yarn: 1 skein of Little Boo Sock by Yarnitas (400m/100g 80% SW Merino 20% Bamboo), or the equivalent of any other sock yarn. “Floral Rhapsody” color, Sock Club 2024 Limited Edition.
+ Needles: 2.25mm circular sock needles or double-pointed needles. You can also use a circular needle with a cable long enough to make a magic loop .
+ Tension: 9 stitches and 12 rows per inch (2.5cm) in stockinette stitch using 2.25mm needles.
