Bonjour Socks

Feel like you just woke up in the city of Paris with these socks! They are comfortable for daily use with sneakers or shoes, and their small Eiffel Tower motifs will bring a smile to your face every time you look at them.

They have that perfect touch between stockinette stitch and lace that I like so much. Moreover, this pattern is perfect for doing knitflix from the couch at home. The central motif is easy to memorize and you can knit the socks while watching your favorite series. You'll have the pair finished before you even realize it.


These socks are knitted from the toe up, and the pattern includes written instructions as well as charts. The textured design mimics small Eiffel Towers along the top of the sock. The heel is worked using short rows, which are explained in the pattern, but you can easily substitute your favorite heel. The leg area has an extended ribbed section to ensure the socks do not slip down.

Keep in mind that these socks are knitted with a smaller needle size than what is usually used for knitting socks, due to the elasticity of the reverse stockinette stitch, which makes them a bit looser and stretchier.

+ Needles: 2.25mm (set of double-pointed needles or long circular for magic loop).
