Episode 24: Welcome 2023!
Gemma AdevaHappy New Year! Even if it's a little late 🙂
I've been dying to publish new episodes of the podcast... it's been a really strange Christmas, and it's been harder than ever to get back into the routine, phew. That said, I'm back with my batteries recharged and eager to share new things here.
In this first episode of season three (yes, it's already the third season of the podcast!) we're going to talk about goals and objectives for 2023, how I've organized myself this year, and all the things I want to do.
NOTES FOR THIS EPISODE
Sections: On my needles, Knitflix.
– I've finished knitting my Christmas socks, which I've named Merryeverything Socks. I haven't published the final photos yet, although you can see them in the photo at the top of this post. The yarn I used is Regia Candy Color in shade 1160.
– I've started knitting the Cavalgante Sweater again, and I can confirm that I won't have enough yarn to finish it. After considering all possible options, I'll buy a skein of Rust, although the batch obviously won't match. What will happen?
– New KAL! I'll officially announce it next week, but we start on Monday the 30th and we'll be knitting the Sophie Shawl by PetiteKnit (there will be a prize for participants and a discount for those who want to knit it with Yarnitas). As always, it will be at The Knit Cafe.
– Series and films mentioned in Knitflix: To the Lake, The Crooked Lines of God, Troll, Day Shift, The Prodigy, Wednesday, Glass Onion, The Academy Awards, 1899, The Witcher: Origin of Blood, Vikings Valhalla and Sweet Magnolias.
– The video I watched about how to organize this year's goals is this one . I found it super useful, and it's helped me a lot when it comes to defining my goals for this year.
Share with me your goals, objectives, or whatever you call them! I'd be so excited 😀
