Episode 21: Changes, changes, and more changes
Gemma Adeva This episode is a little different from the rest, and I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you about all the changes coming to Yarnitas soon (don't worry, it's not a bad thing). I've also finished several projects since I last sat down to record, and I also have a couple of recommendations for your craft library 😉
NOTES FOR THIS EPISODE
Sections: On my needles, Craft Library, Knitflix.
– On my list of finished (and debuted) projects is the Tin Roof by Yamagara, knitted with Retrosaria Coast in the shades Ivory 019 and Solar Power 110. As I said, I have almost the last two balls left, so I'd be happy to exchange or sell them if you want to use them for your t-shirt 🙂 I haven't forgotten about the post I have pending about this project, as soon as I take pictures I'll leave it here for you!
– I’ve also finished both versions of the Montpellier Top from November Knits, the second one I knitted in just over three weeks! Considering I’ve been combining it with a pair of colorwork socks, not bad at all. I’m so happy with this project, I simply LOVE the top. I used Epic cotton from Yarn and Colors in the shades Olive and Curry. With that, my projects for the Summer KAL are finished, hurray!
– Tomorrow marks the official start of the Spooky KAL , where we'll be knitting Halloween socks just like last year. I'm all set and eager to get started! If you'd like, you can still join in (I'll be raffling off a skein of sock yarn among the participants).
– Two essential books for your knitting library: The Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible by Hitomi Shida, and Japanese Knitting by Michiyo.
– Series mentioned on Knitflix: Duality, The Assistant, The Sandman, Dahmer, The Devil in Ohio.
I hope you join me in this new phase, I promise it will be worth it 😀
